Etched copper and leather bracelet

Found these great Dover clip art books – one with Japanese borders. This piece was copied to PnP paper, then burnished onto 24 ga copper. During last week’s class at Beadfx I put it in the etching solution. See Poopsie McAngrypants overseeing the ferric chloride bath.

It went into liver of sulphur for patina then I glued it to a strip of leather with e6000. Corners were punched and riveted with screw and nut rivets from Susan Lenart Kazmer. Then I used my leather punch and snap setter to add the closure and bracelet bending pliers to give it a rounded shape. It fits my wrist like a second skin!
